By special request, visited a large-ish charity second-hand store this week that's not too far away. The store sorts goods in departments, with the 'nice' stuff getting its own department.

This Remington Noiseless Portable was the sole non-beige machine and kept in the 'nice stuff' corner. An intact return-lever (often broken - a weak part!), but very obviously missing a spool-cover and the 3-key shows a broken linkage somewhere inside the machine. Play-damage, likely.
All left there - photo-safari only with no 'baggings'.
