New, improved 3D models of English Italic typewheels - catalogue number 440 (scientific) and 497 (universal). The STL's for both are available for download on Printables.
From using 3D-printed typewheels on the Blickensderfer and gaining more experience from printing these designs, several small improvements were made to the model. These Italic typewheels should now print more reliably (on the 3D printer) and also print more reliably (on the typewriter).

ReplyDeleteIt’s folks such as yourself that keeps this hobby alive! I do have a quick question regarding these type wheels.. would you be willing to send me a few of the 440? I’d obviously cover time, materials, and shipping.
ReplyDeleteI guess you don't have a printer, but it might prhaps be possible to find a Makerspace or a local 3DP service to make a few for you? Probably easier than shipping etc (across the pond, likely :) The settings on the Printables listing should make it print fine on a modern XY 3D printer.
